4th January 2021: School reopening Covid Update

Back

July 3, 2021

Dear Parents and Carers,

As the Government constantly change their advice in relation to the pandemic, schools tend to find out the latest news when you do;  please bear with us as we try and put any plans in place based on last minute information.

Due to concern about the higher transmissibility of the new Covid-19 variant, the NEU (Teacher Union) has recommended to its members not to return to school at the start of term because the workplace is unsafe.

Our COVID-19 risk assessment available on our school website is rigorous and robust and having consulted our staff, we are delighted to state that we expect to be open for all classes (Reception to Year 6) from tomorrow the 5th January.

Unfortunately, due to staff isolating and staff absence we cannot open Nursery for the next 2 weeks.

We would like to thank our fantastic team who have made the decision to stay in school, where it is safe, to teach your children.

We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.
