World Book Day will take place on Thursday 5th March 2026. This year at Beeston, staff and pupils are invited to attend school dressed as their favourite character/book theme. Be as creative as you can! Prizes will be given for the best dressed.
Running alongside our World Book Day we are challenging you to create a ‘vege-tale’ – a vegetable decorated as a character from your favourite book. It can be any size and can include any number of vegetables, as long as it represents a theme from a book. We would like you to bring in your designs on the day. They will be judged by different adults in the school and the winners will receive a prize so, grab yourself some veggies and let your imagination run wild. Remember, you’ve got to be in it to win it!
